Annelies is a professional violinist and teacher based in New York City.  She holds a Masters of Music and a Bachelor degree in Music Performance from the Prestigious Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.  While attending Peabody Conservatory she studied with the former Concertmaster of the Baltimore Symphony, Herbert Greenberg.  Annelies has also coached with Pamela Frank, William Preucil, Elmar Oliveira, David Kim, and many other respected musicians.

Ms. Mast has an extensive orchestra career that has lead to performances in Norway, China, South Korea and Austria.  Last year Annelies held a one-year position with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.  While she lived in the Baltimore/DC area she was also a regular performer with the National Washington Opera, Baltimore Symphony as well as non-classical groups including a swing band called Raggs and the Allstars and performances with Kanye West. 

Along with performing, Annelies is an avid teacher of all ages and levels.  She has held a private studio for several years and is currently faculty at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, the Brooklyn School of Inquiry and the New American Academy.  Ms. Mast completed her Suzuki studies at the School for Strings in NYC with Allen Lieb and Katherine Gerson.
